I have account in Gulberg Branch Lahore and currently living in UAE. Despite of my many complaints and emails, calls to customers care center, no body is bothering and not updating my CNIC in the system due to which my account is blocked. In this advanced era of technology, how lazy and sluggish is the staff even after 9-10 days they are unable to update very minor information in the account holder. Very frustrating attitude....

The branch has been going downhill for sometime with some of the worst customer service available. The staff is rude and the personal manager is the same. They neither respect the customers nor have any proper information regarding the banking policies of Meezan Bank. The head office should take immediate actions to rectify this and especially bring the bank personal manager in line who was especially rude and aggressive. With service like this, Meezan will struggle to maintain their place amongst the growing banks of Pakistan
Worst branch I have ever visit in banking sector with uneducated and non professional staff. even they don't know how to deal with a client. I suggest at least hire professionals and educated employees.
My account has been dormant for the past 4 years and despite many emails to customer care and complaints center all I receive is a generic response which is very frustrating. In person services are very good no doubt but their online service sucks. Pakistanis who are living abroad are suffering due to their inefficiency in online services.

Today I visited Gulberg Branch Lahore for the purpose of home remittances receive which is sent by one of my friend from USA. I entered bank premises at 10:10 am. I asked about the RIA payment receiving counter, he told me counter 7 is the RIA counter. The banker named Chaudhary Zaigham Abbas asked me to wait for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, he told me to go to perform biometric verification. After biometric verification, he again asked me to wait. The tone he used is very harsh and rude and very unprofessional. ''PEECHE JAKE WAIT KER LO KERNA HAI TOU, AUR KHARRE REHNA TOU KHARRE RAHO'. He used these words in very rude tone. I am very disappointed over this rude behavior. After 10 minutes of waiting, he continued to verify my documents and told me to collect cash from cash counter. On this counter, I again face a problem, he said no cash is available and said wait for 10 minutes till the cash arrives. I was not expecting this behavior form such a good bank.

The operational staff, particularly Adil, and the consumer desk representative, Hassan Latif, displayed unprofessional behavior and a dismissive attitude. Over the course of two days, my time was wasted due to inefficiencies and a complete lack of customer care. Instead of providing solutions, the staff made me feel humiliated. Such treatment is unacceptable in a professional environment. I expected better service, but unfortunately, Meezan Bank failed to meet even basic standards.
